Not quite experienced enough to confidently make your way through wild, winding, mangrove trails? This program is for you! We provide opportunities to get more familiar and comfortable maneuvering a kayak while enjoying the shallow waters along the edge of the Intracoastal and learning about the mangrove and estuary ecosystems. Must be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance. Single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups as available. Advanced reservations are required.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Some kayaking experience recommended.
2. Ages: Adults and children ages 7 and up. Parent/guardian must register and participate with minors. Each child under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No child under 13 may paddle a single kayak.
3. Water bottle, sun protection and water shoes required.
4. Subject to cancellation due to low registration or severe weather conditions, including high winds or lightning.
5. Refunds given only if program is cancelled by Gumbo Limbo.
